Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MyFinishedWork ("we", "us") handles information when you use the MyFinishedWork service at myfinishedwork.app.

Who we are

MyFinishedWork is a proof-of-service tool for service businesses. It lets you record customers and jobs, upload before and after photos, complete a checklist, add work notes, generate a proof-of-service report and share that report with your customer through a secure link.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider), and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile details Google returns.
• Business profile. Business name, business email, phone number, address and a business logo, if you choose to add them in Settings.
• Customer records you enter. Customer business name, contact name, email address, phone number, address and notes. This information is about your customers, and you are responsible for having the right to store it.
• Job and proof content. Job title, location, service date, status, checklist items, work notes, and the before and after photos you upload.
• Reports. Generated proof-of-service reports, including a snapshot of the job content at the time the report was created, and the secure share link for that report.
• Technical information. Standard server and security logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used to operate and protect the service.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details, government identifiers or special categories of personal data.

How we use information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To store and display your customers, jobs, photos, checklists and notes.
• To generate proof-of-service reports and make them available at a share link.
• To provide support and respond to your questions.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your job photos or customer records for advertising.

Report sharing

When you generate a report, MyFinishedWork creates a share link containing a long, random, hard-to-guess token. Anyone who has that link can view that single report, including the job details, photos, checklist and notes it contains. The link does not give access to your account or to any other job or customer. Only share it with people you intend to see the report. At present MyFinishedWork does not send emails to your customers on your behalf; you share the link yourself.

How information is stored

Application data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and photos and logos are stored in managed object storage, both provided by Supabase and operated for us through Lovable Cloud. The application itself is hosted on Lovable's infrastructure, which uses Cloudflare for delivery. Access to your records is restricted at the database level so that each account can read and write only its own data, and photo files are served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase (via Lovable Cloud) — database, file storage and authentication.
• Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
• Lovable / Cloudflare — application hosting and content delivery.
• Google Fonts — the fonts used in the interface are loaded from Google's font service, which receives your IP address as part of that request.

MyFinishedWork currently uses no payment processor, no advertising network, no analytics or tracking service, and no marketing email provider. Transactional email required for the account itself — sign-up confirmation and password resets — is sent through our authentication provider. If we add any of these services, we will update this page before they go live.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in. Your session is stored in your browser by the authentication provider. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual customers, jobs, photos and reports at any time from within the app. If you ask us to close your account, we delete your account data and uploaded files, other than anything we must keep for legal or security reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can edit or delete most of your data directly in the app; for anything else, contact us and we will help.

Children

MyFinishedWork is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app.
