Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of MyFinishedWork at myfinishedwork.app ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

MyFinishedWork is a proof-of-service tool for service businesses. It lets you record customers and jobs, upload before and after photos, complete a checklist, add work notes, mark a job complete once at least one before photo and one after photo are present, generate a proof-of-service report, and share that report with your customer through a secure link. Features may change as the product develops.

Your account

You need an account to use the service. You must give accurate information, keep your password confidential and are responsible for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. Accounts are for business use; you must be at least 16 years old.

Early access, plans and billing

MyFinishedWork is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. There is no paid subscription, no trial period and no payment processor connected today. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and terms before any charge, and you will be able to choose whether to continue on a paid plan.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into the service — customer records, job details, photos, checklists, notes and reports ("your content"). You grant us only the permission we need to host, process and display your content in order to run the service for you.

You are responsible for your content. In particular, you confirm that you have the right to upload the photos you take and to store the customer details you enter, and that you have any permission required from the property owner or customer to photograph a site and to share a report about it.

Sharing reports

A report share link contains a long random token and can be opened by anyone who has it. You decide who receives the link and are responsible for who you send it to. You can keep a report private by not sharing its link.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights when using the service;
• upload unlawful, harmful, misleading or infringing content;
• upload photos of people or property you have no right to capture or publish;
• attempt to access another account, data or report you are not entitled to see;
• probe, disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service or its infrastructure;
• use the service to send spam or to misrepresent work that was not carried out.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or problems outside our control, and we do not promise any particular uptime. Support is provided by email and we aim to respond within a few business days.

Termination

You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, creates a security or legal risk, or is used to harm others. If we close your account for reasons other than a serious breach, we will give you a reasonable chance to export your content first.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. MyFinishedWork is a documentation tool: it does not verify that work was carried out, is not a legal record, and is not a substitute for your own contracts, insurance or backups. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data or reputational harm. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, while the service is free of charge, to USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
